7/6
The Holocaust Memorial was interesting to see but was not quite the solemn place I had expected. I thought it childish of all the children to be playing hide-and-seek and climbing on the Stella, but then again we were as guilty too.

What it stood for though and the process of finding the best memorial was interesting, the tour guide let us draw our own assumptions... I tid bit of what I felt was that it was a collective of sameness, that there is/was no conceivable way to pity/remember all those who lost their lives when our counts are only speculative.
House   of the Cultures of the World
Nicknamed the "Pregnant Oyster"
Some cool Futurism from the late '50's

They did not want you climbing it.

Das Icon

Transition from street to walkway to the Oyster

The majestic victory column in the middle of the Tiergarten moved by Albert Speer.

Facing West presumably to taunt France.
(Not very many people in Europe today like the French either so it seemed)

Climbed that

A picture full of beautiful things from the top.

Can only mean one thing....

AEG Turbine Factory
After many a year of studying this building I was elated after finally getting to see it.  It is uncomprehendingly massive, you have to see it to believe it.  Awesome metal and masonry work to produce this revolutionary building.

Sweet Triumph

The building that housed these amazing cars was so spectacular. It created the setting perfectly.  The cars felt at home in the place.

Too bumpy of roads to be driving my '69 Aston Martin around on, glad I left it in Texas.
