Saw in person in a Bahnhof, but did not snap a pic. One of my favorite. Courtesy the internet.

Looks more like an iceberg than a crystal to me.
How it is all put together.

How the new fits into the old, even though I'm not sure how old the old actually is.
Looks are deceiving <30 years old

Wunderbar
Wonder why he's so happy.
The stuff Conner's dreams are made of.
Probably not in cm though.
Okay, kinda a cool little model.
Lame.
Oscar Niemeyer in Berlin is far away from Brazil. Even though, I do have a thing for sharp edges that reveal themselves later, it's always intriguing what's on the other side.
This is a half complete idea I must say. I like it, but I feel like there could be something else here too. To definitely be worked upon.

Dutch Embassy by Mr. Rem Koolhaas |
This and the Nordic Embassies were the most successful in my opinion. Here there is a theme of transparency. Here it is shown on the outside facade, but even on the inside every space looks into another so you can never be truly hidden (even the urinals had a polished reflective surface which was very strange indeed). But, anyways, I believe more governmental buildings should be like this. I like the idea so much that I would not stop at the government, take it to corporations, institutions and beyond, where the truth is the most valuable resource.
Stealing someone's quote, sorry "They say a doctor can bury his mistakes an architect can only plant trees..." We need some Redwoods over here.

Why?
Did someone die?
I think it is pretty cool that the Germans use buildings in their advertisements.
Treptower Park, Soviet Memorial.
I found it a very moving space, I loved the shear size of it all. It's also cool to note that Dr. Stuckey pointed out we are the first Post-Cold War generation, something that had not registered with me before.
